In Deuteronomy God promises to raise up a prophet like Moses, who will speak for God; in Psalm 111 God shows the people the power of God's works. For the church these are ways of pointing to the unique authority people sensed in Jesus' actions and words. We encounter that authority in God's word, around which we gather, the word that trumps any lesser spirit that would claim power over us, freeing us to follow Jesus.
Christian Education
Christian Education is a fundamental part of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church. Adults and children alike are afforded a number of opportunities to participate in education classes, all geared toward enriching the hearts, souls and lives of our members.
Sunday School classes are offered for both children and adults. Classes are Sundays at 10:10 am. Children pre-school age and up are welcome to attend. A nursery is also available for those parents with babies. Please join us!
Bible Study lead by Pastor Bishop, meets on Wednesdays at 10:00 am or 7:00 pm
